Growing up as a sensitive child I needed art to keep me balanced. I would spend any free time drawing characters and building stories in my imagination. I never got time during school hours to get creative so it was often in the quiet space of my bedroom. Over the years in a traditional school system I become increasingly more aware of my art and the story that I was not good enough.

Then I stopped creating altogether and gave up on my dream to become an author/illustrator or animator. I stumbled along for a while and lost my creative spark. It would take me over 2 decades, a teaching degree and painstakingly writing 2 manuscripts to restore my creative magic and deep imagination.

Now I create every day and feel passionate about helping kids who are naturally creative STAY that way.
