I am a fully qualified teacher with over a decade of experience teaching school aged children. I received my education degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008. I am also a life-long learner, ever seeking new ways to evolve and better my knowledge and understanding of art education. I am also a seasoned mother of 4 sensitive/creative kids.

Art projects range term to term. Expect process-based art with guidelines, storytelling about the creative self and imagination, practicing basic fine art skills as well as completed projects to go inside a visual journal that reflect natures' seasons.

Art club runs for 6-8 weeks depending on the term

The age range from age 3-5 years (with parental support) and 6-14 (independent creators)

The art supplies vary but I try to keep them simple, earth friendly and assessable. I also provide parents with a supplies list. Expect to need watercolour paints, pastels, nature and recycled materials.
