It was WAY out of Violets comfort zone to attend something like that. She has so much anxiety and she’d already had 2 unsuccessful zoom class attempts. What really worked for her was your warmth and flexibility. She seemed to enjoy watching the lesson but she’s also a kid who really likes to do her own thing and so it was wonderful that she was allowed and even encouraged to do her own thing.

I was stunned that she was open to speaking up. It was really heartwarming for me to see her comment on other children’s pieces. That was a huge growth step for her. It was overall a really fantastic experience for her and I’m really hoping we can join again.
